PFF Welcomes Mike Wendy as VP of Press & External Affairs

WASHINGTON D.C. - Today, The Progress & Freedom Foundation welcomed Mike Wendy to the venerable Washington think tank, which has studied the Digital Revolution and its implications for public policy since 1993. At PFF, Wendy will hold the position of Vice President of Press & External Affairs, working to communicate PFF's tech policy expertise to new and growing audiences worldwide.

"We're excited to have Mike on board," said Adam Thierer, President of PFF. "He brings immense knowledge and experience of the IT and telecom industries to the table. Mike will play a leading role in getting PFF's ideas and content out to policymakers, thought leaders, media and the public."

Wendy previously served as Director of Public Affairs for the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), and has been active in Washington's tech policy space for the past 15 years. He is also a lawyer, having graduated from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University, and previously received his BS in Telecommunication / Journalism from the University of Florida. Wendy is a member of the Florida Bar.
