PFF Sundance Summit to be Held July 11-13
What's Ahead for the New Digital Decade?

WASHINGTON D.C. - The Progress & Freedom Foundation will hold its Sundance Summit July 11th - 13th at the Sundance Resort in Sundance, Utah.  An early registration discount will be offered until May 31st.

This theme for this year's event is "What's Ahead for the New Digital Decade?"  Panelists and speakers will discuss directions in public policy concerning communications, media, intellectual property, privacy, and the Internet.  As past attendees will attest, the summit offers a thoughtful and insightful picture of what's to come in the areas of business and policy, as well as one of the year's preeminent tech networking events. Specific information on panel topics and speakers will be announced in upcoming months.

"We're excited to be moving forward with our signature annual event," said PFF President Adam Thierer. "Attendees from our past annual summits are sure to enjoy the change of venue and will hear the same sort of high-caliber speakers and riveting discussions they have come to expect.  We're planning what I expect will be a great event."

PFF's annual summit is known for attracting leading visionaries involved in the technology and information fields. Past speakers at PFF's annual Summit have included Eric Schmidt, Chairman & CEO of Google Inc.; Viacom founder Sumner M. Redstone; former Federal Communications Commission Chairman Michael Powell; Jeff Bezos, Founder of Amazon.com; Richard W. Fisher, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas; renowned constitutional law scholars Richard Epstein and Laurence H. Tribe; Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia; Sun Microsystems President Jonathan Schwartz; and Silicon Valley venture capitalist Tom Perkins.
