OMB Director to Headline
10th Anniversary Dinner

Daniels Brought PFF's Eisenach, Keyworth Together in 1980s

WASHINGTON, D.C. - OMB Director Mitchell E. Daniels Jr. will be the after-dinner speaker at The Progress & Freedom Foundation’s 10th anniversary celebration on April 10. He will join several hundred Foundation friends and supporters at Washington’s Renaissance Mayflower Hotel. The dinner begins at 7:00 p.m.

PFF Chairman Jay Keyworth and President Jeff Eisenach – who co-founded PFF in April 1993 – first began working together on digital issues during the late 1980s when both were affiliated with the Indianapolis-based Hudson Institute, of which Daniels was then president. “Mitch Daniels has understood the importance of technology and the digital revolution for many, many years,” Keyworth said. “We could not possibly have a more appropriate or thoughtful speaker to commemorate our 10th Anniversary.”

“As OMB Director, Mitch has made e-government and other high-tech issues a real priority,” Eisenach said. “It seems especially appropriate that he join us to commemorate PFF’s 10th Anniversary, since it was Mitch who first brought Jay and me together to begin thinking about the impact and policy implications of the digital revolution.”

Those interested in attending the Foundation’s 10th anniversary celebration should contact Jane Creel at 202-289-8928 or jcreel@pff.org.
