- Swanson Brings Exaflood to Upcoming "Talk the Future" Conference
Bret Swanson will be a keynote speaker at "Talk the Future 2008," a conference hosted by IMC University of Applied Sciences in Krems, Austria. More information on the event, scheduled for September 4th through the 6th, is available on the conference website. Earlier this month, PFF Senior Fellow Swanson co-hosted a book event on the immigration issue featuring author Jason Riley. A webcast of the event is available on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce website.
- Thierer speaks at Internet Safety Town Hall Meeting
PFF Senior Fellow Adam Thierer is a guest speaker today at 29th Annual National Educational Computing Conference, sponsored by the International Society for Technology in Education. Adam will be lead presenter and moderator of the "Internet Safety Town Hall Meeting" panel, "Resources and Tools." More information is available on the ISTE website.
- Szoka to Lead Discussion on Space Policy
PFF Visiting Fellow Berin Szoka will lead a panel discussion on "Federal Policy Tools for Space Commercialization" on July 17 in Washington, DC at the NewSpace 2008 conference hosted by the Space Frontier Foundation. Szoka's panel will discuss a wide range of legal and regulatory changes that could be made at the Federal level to enable entrepreneurship in space.
