  • Ferree Talks "Public Interest" at NABShow Conference
    PFF President Ken Ferree was a featured speaker this month at the 27th Annual "Representing Your Local Broadcaster," conference, sponsored by the American Bar Association Forum on Communications Law, the National Association of Broadcasters, and the Federal Communications Bar Association. Ferree spoke on the panel, "Public Interest - What is 'IT'?" where he discussed broadcasting and public interest mandates.
  • Esbin Tackles Sports Programming at NCSL Spring Forum
    PFF Senior Fellow Barbara Esbin has been invited to participate in the National Conference of State Legislature's Spring Forum. This Friday, Esbin will join policy experts and sports programming executives on the discussion panel, "Unable to Watch the Big Game?" More information is available on the NCSL website.
  • Swanson to Present on Coming Exaflood
    Bret Swanson, PFF Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Global Innovation, will speak next month at the IIA Symposium "The Exaflood: Finding Solutions," sponsored by theInternet Innovation Alliance - Exaflood event. Swanson will join fellow policy experts and industry representatives on the panel, "The Exaflood: Effect and Impact."
  • Thierer Speaks on Youth and the Media
    Earlier this week, Adam Thierer, PFF Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Digital Media Freedom, was a guest on the Kojo Nnamdi Show where he discussed youth and online free speech. Earlier this month, Thierer was the luncheon keynote speaker at "Playing to Win: The Business and Social Frontiers of Videogames," a conference sponsored by Penn State University.
