- Thierer to Participate in Internet Safety Technical Task Force
Adam Thierer, PFF Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Digital Media Freedom, has been chosen to participate in the Internet Safety Technical Task Force. The Task Force, first announced in a joint agreement between MySpace and 49 Attorneys General earlier this year, will study online safety tools. In related news, Thierer will soon release the third edition of his book, Parental Controls and Online Child Protection: A Survey of Tools & Methods.
- Ferree Talks Net Neutrality in Broadband Industry Practices Live Webcast
This Tuesday, March 11th, Ken Ferree will join other policy experts in a live debate on network neutrality. The debate, sponsored by VONTV, will be webcast live at 2:00pm. Visit the VONTV website for more information.
- Thierer to Speak at Upcoming Policy Events
This weekend, Adam Thierer is scheduled to speak at the "Legal Futures Conference," organized by Google and Stanford Law School's Center for Internet and Society. The conference participants will discuss developments in legal matters due to technological advancements. Later this month, Thierer will also participate in a roundtable on Internet safety at the "Tech Policy Summit" in Hollywood, California.
