- Ferree Talks Privacy in Economist Online Debate
PFF President Ken Ferree is participating in an online debate hosted by Economist magazine. The first topic in the new series is privacy vs. security. Ken's response to the opening arguments can be found here.
- Adam Thierer to Keynote Video Game Event
Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Digital Media Freedom Adam Thierer will be a featured speaker at "Playing to Win: The Business and Social Frontiers of Video Games," to be held April 4th through April 5th. Thierer will discuss policy issues surrounding the gaming sector as well as current parental control and industry rating efforts.
- Swanson Shares Views on "The Coming Exaflood"
Bret Swanson, PFF Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Global Innovation, was a guest speaker last month at a meeting of The CFA Society of Indianapolis. Swanson spoke about the expected dramatic rise in Internet traffic in the coming years due to video and other applications.
- Pew Internet Project's 2007 Predictions Survey
PFF staff members have participated in the "2007 Predictions Survey," being conducted by The Pew Internet and American Life Project and Elon University.
