Activities of Note
- Caprio Panel Moderator at RFID Legal Seminar
Dan Caprio participated in a Legal Seminar held before a serious of Industry Summits on RFID technology. Caprio acted as moderator for the panel, "Privacy and Data Security," in which participants discusses proposed state and federal legislation concerning RFID technology. Caprio is also scheduled to present at the "EU RFID Conference 2006" later this month.
- Singleton Represents PFF at Asian Think Tank Gathering
In September, Solveig Singleton attended the international conference, "Preferential Trade Agreements; Local solutions for global free trade?" The event, hosted by the Economic Freedom Network, was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- Thierer Participates in NAB Media Law Conference
Adam Thierer was a featured panelist at the 12th Biannual Media Law Conference, "Protecting the First Amendment." The event was organized by the National Association of Broadcasters, the Media Law Resource Center, and the Newspaper Association of America. Thierer participated in the panel, "The Next Big Thing - Hot Issues for 2007 and Beyond."

Singleton to Speak on Patent Reform
Solveig Singleton is scheduled to participate in "Software Patents: A Time for Change?" a conference to be held this November at the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology in Boston, Massachusetts. She will offer remarks during the roundtable discussion, "Options for Action and Reform."
