Lenard Debates Municipal Wi-Fi Networks
On Friday, January 6th, PFF Senior Fellow and Vice President for Research Tom Lenard participated in a debate on municipal wi-fi sponsored by the Federal Communications Law Association. Lenard warned of local subsidies required to maintain the network and the crowding out of private investment.
- Thierer to Participate in Net Neutrality Discussion
Adam Thierer, PFF Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Digital Media Freedom, is scheduled to participate in a debate on Net neutrality and the wireless industry, sponsored by CTIA. Thierer will discuss whether Net neutrality requires structured principles or rules.
