Chairman Powell engaged a small group of House and Senate staff in a lively discussion of communications and the Internet, technology and life in government.

The Federal IRLE is a non-partisan, economics-based educational program of the Progress & Freedom Foundation. It is designed to equip House and Senate staff with the analytical tools they need to evaluate the interplay between legislation, regulation and technological dynamism.  Sessions in the program are small and led by world-class faculty. The high-point of the Federal IRLE is a three-day conference hosted at the renowned Aspen Institute.
