April 5, 2004, 8:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Parkview Annex, The City Club at Franklin Square
1300 I St., NW, Lobby Level

Speaker Presentations:

What's next for electricity policy? This workshop featured policymakers, representatives of the industry and investment community, and academics (Harvard, Wharton and PFF) presenting their views on what direction that policy should take. 2003 saw major developments in the electricity policy arena, including the Northeast blackout and its aftermath, the consideration by Congress of the first major energy legislation in more than a decade, and the Federal Regulatory Commission's follow-up to its Standard Market Design proposal. What will come next?
