This conference will discuss the FCC's new "Future of Media" proceeding and debate what role government should play in subsidizing the press or bailing out failing media enterprises.

The event will begin with a keynote speech by Ellen P. Goodman, Distinguished Visiting Scholar, Federal Communication Commission's Future of Media team, with the panel discussion to follow.
